Our Mission
Create a world where businesses recruit young talent through shared values.
Our Story
Starting out as a one off job matching event for young people, the event has now evolved into a community for forward thinking SME businesses across the city who all share a common purpose to ‘recruit young talent and do good’.
We want to build a global community that hires talent based on shared values not vitae. We are redefining recruitment for businesses and young people and along the way we want to have some fun and feel good too.
The Get Hired Live events have been running for 5 years, they are run by The Prince’s Trust, who have been helping young people into employment for 40 years! Whilst we always look back on where we’ve come from with pride, it’s where we are going next that really gets us excited!
The Get Hired Team's Values
Our Team
Our mission doesn’t stop with connecting the businesses and young people with just one job. We believe in developing young people through the A, B, C, D of jobs.
- A Job
- Better Job
- Career job
- Dream job
This could be within one organisation or multiple.
Our Get Hired team is committed to helping young people create their life’s work. We move fast, we have fun and we challenge each other. Most of all though we come together with a shared purpose of changing young lives which makes working here extremely rewarding. There’s a lot of work left for us to do, and we couldn’t do it without a single member of our team.
On our daily playlist we always like to blast out a bit of Heather… “What have you done today to make yourself feel proud”
